How to approach
- State the bridge in a short sentence. *Mango : fruit* → “type of.” Then apply that same bridge to the third term.
- Keep the direction. *Doctor : hospital* is not the same order as *hospital : doctor*.
- Prefer exact relations. Part–whole, cause–effect, tool–user, degree, antonym, sequence.
- For logic stems, translate to everyday language. *If P then Q* means Q must follow when P is true; the converse is not automatic.
- Eliminate thematic distractors. Options about the same topic but the wrong relationship.

Stem: Book is to Library as Medicine is to _____
- A.Doctor
- B.Pharmacy
- C.Patient
- D.Illness
Work: A library is the place where books are stored/organized for access. A pharmacy is the place where medicines are stored/dispensed. *Doctor* and *patient* are people; *illness* is a condition. Answer: B. Pharmacy.
Common traps
- Theme matching — Choosing anything medical for a medicine stem without checking the relation type.
- Reversed analogy — Matching the pair backward (whole→part when the stem was part→whole).
- Degree slip — Treating *warm : hot* like synonyms instead of intensity.
- Converse logic — From “If it rains, the street is wet” concluding “If the street is wet, it rained.”
- Two-step overthink — Inventing a clever story when a simple, consistent bridge already fits one option.
