CSE-PPT offers two levels. Pick based on the eligibility you need for the jobs you want, not based on which mock feels shorter. Structure below is from CSC primary materials (retrieved 2026-08-13).

Level-specific subtestAnalytical AbilityClerical Ability

Shared across both: General Information, Verbal Ability (English and Filipino), and Numerical Ability, with the official topic lists published by CSC (Constitution, R.A. 6713, peace and human rights, environment; verbal skills; basic operations, number sequence, word problems).

Professional — Analytical Ability: word analogy; symbolic logic / abstract reasoning; identifying assumptions and drawing conclusions; data interpretation.

Subprofessional — Clerical Ability: filing; spelling.

Eligibility granted (CSC wording, summarized)

  • Professional: Career Service Professional Eligibility — second-level eligibility appropriate for first-level (clerical) and second-level (technical) government positions, including executive/managerial second-level positions not involving practice of profession and not covered by special/other laws.
  • Subprofessional: Career Service SubProfessional Eligibility — first-level eligibility appropriate only for first-level (clerical) positions not involving practice of profession and not covered by special/other laws.

If your target plantilla item asks for Professional eligibility, Subprofessional will not substitute. Always read the vacancy’s qualification standards.

How to choose (practical)

  1. List the jobs you will actually apply for in the next 1–2 years.
  2. Check whether they require Professional or Subprofessional eligibility (or either).
  3. Only then pick a level in this app and in your CSC application.
  4. Education background rumors online are not restated here as requirements — confirm age/education rules on csc.gov.ph.

Studying the difference in this product

  • Diagnostics and mocks are level-specific.
  • Professional plans emphasize Analytical topics; Subprofessional plans emphasize Clerical (filing/spelling) plus the shared subjects.
  • Switching levels mid-prep resets what “ready” means — expect Readiness and plans to follow the level you select.

What we will not invent

  • Age/education gates as official text without CSC confirmation
  • Claims that one level is universally “easier”
  • Official per-subtest weights (unpublished by CSC; our mocks use editorial estimates)

Study with this product

  1. Choose your level, then take the free diagnostic.
  2. Follow Today’s plan for that level’s weak topics.
  3. Sit the matching full mock (170- or 165-item format with the correct timer).

Honest facts

  • Level choice is a CSC/career decision; we only simulate practice for the level you select.
  • We never invent official CSC dates, fees, or room assignments.
  • Readiness Score is a product metric — not a CSC rating prediction.
  • Passing either mock here does not grant eligibility — only CSC does after the official exam.
