Readiness Score is this product’s 0–100 progress number. It blends how your recent full mocks look, how broadly you have practiced official topics, and how consistently you show up. It is never a forecast of CSC’s general rating and must not be read as “you will score X on exam day.”

The formula we show you

\[ \mathrm{Readiness} = \mathrm{round}(0.50\cdot M + 0.30\cdot C + 0.20\cdot K) \]

ComponentWeightMeaning in plain language
M (mocks)50%Recency-weighted mean of your last 1–3 completed full mock percentages at your target level
C (coverage)30%Coverage-weighted topic mastery; topics you have not explored yet are treated cautiously (unexplored count toward a neutral baseline, not fake mastery)
K (consistency)20%Consistency and recency — uneven subjects and long gaps pull this down

Exact implementation lives in our progress engine; the UI may also link a short “how this is computed” note. Weights above are the product definition — not a CSC rule.

When you see “Not enough data”

We gate the number until both are true:

  • You have ≥ 1 completed full mock at your target level, and
  • You have practiced enough topics for coverage to mean something

Until then we show an honest empty state (for example, prompts to take a first mock or practice more topics) instead of inventing a reassuring fake score.

How to use Readiness without fooling yourself

  1. Trend over one number. A single jump after an easy-feeling mock matters less than a stable climb across attempts.
  2. Fix C with plans, M with mocks. Daily plans and topic drills raise coverage/mastery; only full mocks move M.
  3. Protect K with streaks you can keep. Minutes/day you finish beat ambitious plans you abandon.
  4. Never equate Readiness with 80.00. The widely cited CSC passing rating is a separate question — confirm that standard on csc.gov.ph.

What we will not invent

  • A claim that Readiness predicts your official general rating
  • An “official CSC readiness” label
  • A raw-score formula presented as CSC’s computation
